This evening gathered some mind blowing talent like poets, musicians, stand up comedians and many more!

Battle Of Raps
(23th April 2021)
An inter-college competition organized for aspiring rappers to showcase their talents. The event was organized in three rounds - online eliminations, live rap and at last a rap battle between the finalists on 23rd April.
It witnessed the participation of brilliant rappers from various colleges and under the judgment of Mr. Sagar Thakur
Shiddat Spotify

It was a social media campaign wherein we created various playlists on our Spotify account for different mood types

An Intra College open mic was conducted by Shiddat, the music society along with the Rotaract club of USME on the occasion of hindi diwas.
Teacher's Day

Members of our society gave various performances on the occasion of teacher's day on 7th September. It was witnessed by students,teachers as well as by the HOD sir on Google meet.
Musicothon

An Intra college online musical event . This event is not just for singers but also for those who love listening to music. In this event, a video of 5 seconds will be played on the instagram story of our official account. Participants have to guess the song and choose the correct option. Teacher’s Day event

A musical event was conducted to pay tribute to teachers who are working so hard for us.
This event witnessed group performance by new members of society as well as solo performances by post holders Priyam Upreti, Manasvi Sharma and Nuh arif. This was highly applauded by faculty as well as students.
Independence day celebration

We went with some of our talented performers to Gargi and Shyam lal college to showcase the talent of USME DTU.
Our old songs mashup was highly recognized by the crowd of both the colleges. We got the opportunity to meet Kavita Seth , filmfare winner for the song ‘Iktara’.
Mood Indigo

We worked hard for 2 months to went to Mumbai to be part of Asia’s largest fest Mood indigo This was a truly amazing experience for us as we tried a new form of music as a group that was acapella.
We spent our end semester break in practicing and brushing our skills.

Internship fair opening ceremony

Shiddat society successfully organised opening ceremony of Internship fair which included saraswati vandna and a mashup of motivational songs which created an atmosphere of of zeal and excitement.
It was a really proud moment for us as we performed in front of notable personalities .
Independence day celebration

A intercollege musical event to celebrate the independence of India. The event will be on the theme of freedom and patriotism. Various solos, duets and group songs to be performed by the music society, to display our love towards
the country and the constitution. The society will be performing patriotic songs for the occasion.

An online open mic event in collaboration with Alfaaz and Rotaract , this event will witness music
enthusiasts performing from various colleges. To make it more exciting and fun we will have kahoot
quizzes and the winners will get goodies by our sponsor That Lady Bakes.
