Disguise had organized the first ever Fashion Show of USME DTU, which was a hit event. The theme was Indo-Western, where the charming male models were dressed in Sherwani - Jeans - Shirt. Meanwhile the alluring and graceful female models were dressed in long shimmery Lehenga-Skirts paired up with White Shirts to give out a message that an Indo look has the power to make anyone look chic.

 Talent Hunt

(30th September,2019)

Disguise had organized the event Talent Hunt for the freshers which consisted of two rounds namely, Talent Showcase and Questionnaire Round. On the basis of these rounds, Mr. and Ms. Freshers for 2019 were declared, along with other few titles like 'Best Dressed' and 'Mr/Ms Talented'

 Polaroid - Photography Competition

(13th May 2020 to 15th May 2020)

An Online Photography Competition was held from 13th of May 2020 to 15th of May 2020. The theme of the competition was 'QUARANTINE' An overwhelming response with an all India participation of more than 50 participants was observed. The entries were posted on the society’s official Instagram page and based on the number of likes, the winners were decided. Apart from the winners, several special tags were also announced to recognize the remarkable skills of the participants.

 Out from the screen- Cosplay Competition

(1st - 10th October,2020)

OUT FROM THE SCREEN was an online cosplay competition held from 1st October 2020 to 10th October 2020 where the participants were required to send pictures of themselves dressed up as their favourite movie/T.V character. Amazing participation from all around the country was observed. International certified makeup artist Saima Hassan was brought in to judge this competition and the winners were selected based on creativity, idea and presentation. Winners received certificates and their entries were posted on Disguise’s official Instagram page whereas every participant received participation certificates.

 Spook up - Halloween Makeup Competition

(17th - 31st October 2020)

SPOOK-UP was an online Halloween makeup competition held from 17th October 2020 to 31st October 2020 where the participants were required to send pictures of themselves in Halloween based makeup. An overwhelming
response was observed from college students to amateur makeup artists. ‘Lujobox’, ‘MBakers’ and ‘Stracts’ sponsored this competition and Rasna Bharadwaj was brought in to judge the competition. The winners were selected based on Creativity, Idea, and Visualization and were awarded gifts
and certificates and their entries were posted on Disguise’s official Instagram page. Participants also received participation certificates and gift vouchers 
from the sponsors.

 IndieVision - Festive wear Competition

(30th September,2019)

INDIE-VISION was an online festive wear competition held from 7th November 2020 to 19th November 2020 where participants were required to send pictures of themselves in ethnic wear. This competition was sponsored by
‘Akshiraa’ and ‘Foxvenue’ and Ankita Munjal was brought in to judge this competition. The winners were selected based on three criteria namely Outfit, Accessories, and Overall Presentation and were awarded gifts and certificates and their entries were posted on Disguise’s official Instagram page.
Participants also received participation certificates and gift vouchers from our
sponsors.

 EUPHORIA- Magalogue

Disguise is proud to announce its first-ever monthly magalogue named ‘EUPHORIA’. The first edition was launched in November 2020 and is slowly enhancing its quality. A theme is allocated every month and the team behind this magalogue works in different ways to make it appealing and interesting for anyone who wants to know and learn different aspects of fashion and lifestyle. It covers from high fashion, street style, outfit inspiration, famous outfits to trivia to different types of cloth and pattern. It is a must for those who want a glimpse into the fashion life.

Participants were required to have their photographs taken in which they had to showcase their
winter appearance in a unique way and submit the top two photos. The first award was for Rs.
2000, the second prize was worth Rs. 1000, and the third reward was worth Rs. 700. All
participants received exciting vouchers.

Enchante - Fashion Fest

1. Folksy Closet- The participants were required to submit photos and videos representing the attire of a particular country or state of India. More than 50 entries were received in Round 1, out of which 10 were selected for the second round.

2. Trashion- Teams were required to create outfits using trash materials such as newspapers, magazines, etc. The time given to contestants to prepare the outfit was 2 hours, and then they were
required to send photos and videos.

​

3. The Fashion Treasure- Participants were given clues, using which they had to find the key to unlocking all the levels of the game. The top 10 participants were selected for round 2. These selected participants were then given random themes related to fashion, and they had to present them in the best way possible.

4. Emoticon Glam- The contestants had to do the emoji makeup look in under 45 minutes, and then they had to send pictures of their look. The participants were judged on 3 main criteria: creativity, idea, and visualization.

 Webinar Series

On the first day, we had Bhawna Gulwani( Fashion blogger and YouTuber), and Reetika
Anand(Food blogger from Tempting Tales). On the second day, in collaboration with the Delhi
School of Image, we organized a personality development workshop on the art of making a first
impression.

Pride Month - Campaign

The aim of the Pride Month campaign was to celebrate the LGBTQ community and raise

awareness about equality by recreating the appearances of a number of LGBTQ- supporting celebrities.

Euphoria

Friends was the theme for Euphoria. We did our hardest to understand all of the amazing
characters on this television show's dress sense.

Moda Corporate

Participants were required to submit a minimum of two photos depicting a corporate style. The
event was judged by Ms. Bhawna Gulwani.
