Open Forum Session
The power of voice lies in the certainty of arguments, originality of ideas and the depth of knowledge. Deltech- MUN, debating and quiz society organised open forum sessions in collaboration with the societies of SRCC, Sri Aurobindo College and Daulat Ram College. Topics of contemporary significance were thoroughly discussed among various students of different colleges. Jokes and Jeopardy: The'comical' conspiracy: new education policy- opportunities and obstacles: and structural reforms required in the Indian banking sector were the three topics used for the discussion.
All the sessions were stimulating and thought-provoking. The insightful arguments put forward by the participants gave a fresh perspective to the existing facts. We felt delighted to provide a platform to the students for sharing their ideas and opinions. Through open forum sessions, we endevoured to give a fair opportunity to all the participants to come and express their voices. The moderators from the team made sure that each voice is heard, appreciated and there is not any stagnancy in the arguments. All the sessions ended successfully because of the hard work put in by both the team and the participants.
The Digital Diplomat
The members of DelTech MUN, Debating and Quiz society organised an Independent Event - The Digital Diplomat Model United Nations, a World Humanity Commision recognized conference aimed to raise funds to provide basic necessities like food and sanitary napkins to the underprivileged sections of the society affected by the COVID - 19 pandemic. It was a successful event and the vision was #conferenceforacause. The event also witnessed the presence of The Indian Young Ambassador, WHC as the chief guest of the conference.
Moderated Bilingual Group Discussion
The DelTech MUN Debating and Quiz Society organized an online debate with the topic 'hate speech - riot mongering or freedom of expression'. The event was a huge success with a spectacular participation from across the country. Thought-provoking and engaging discussions took place and several shades of opinions were brought out. We are greatful to everyone who participated in the event and made it a success. Our mission through this competition was to inculcate a spirit of debate and discourse among the youth.
Business and General Awareness Quiz
Organised an online quiz competition on "Business and general awareness" which witnessed registrations from over 1800 teams of 2 members each. The quiz was framed to enhance the thinking and cognitive abilities of participants and push them to come up with ingenious solutions in order to prepare them for their future endeavours.​ Due to the dedicated efforts of the organising committee, the event went smoothly, with the society receiving multiple compliments from the participants for organising such a well choreographed event. The winners were awarded with merit certificates, exciting cash prizes and an improved knowledge of the world & its happenings.
New India New Decade

DelTech MUN and debating society organised a moderated bilingual group discussion on 13 February 2020 on the topic New India, New Decade The event saw some of the enthusiastic debaters who made the most of the day by indulging in a healthy, inclusive and spirited discussion. This event was judged by Shubham Singhania (Ph.D Research Scholar:Finance & Corporate Governance ) at University School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Delhi Technological University. The DelTech MUN Debating and Quiz Society organized an online debate with the topic 'hate speech - riot mongering or freedom of expression'. The event was a huge success with a spectacular participation from across the country.
The Maurya Model United Nations
The members of DelTech MUN, Debating and Quiz Society organzied The Maurya Model United Nations in collaboration with The Maurya School, Gurugram. The event saw a participation of over 250+ delegates and was a huge success. The members of the society gained direct experience and exposure of organizing a conference.
Intra-College Quiz on General Awareness
We organized an Intra-College Quiz on General Awareness in collaboration with Jaipuria Institute of Management which witnessed participation from over 40 teams of 2 each. The quiz was framed holistically to test the participants on their general awareness and analytical abilities. The event went successfully with winners, who came out on the top with an exceptional score, receiving a whopping Rs 5000 as cash prize, merit certificates and entry into the finale, conducted at JIM itself. The runner ups were rewarded with gift hampers and an experience to remember.
The Training & Mock Session
DelTech MUN, Debating and Quiz Society organzied Training & Mocking Session On Documentation & Bloc Strategy in Model United Nation on 25th & 26th Of January.
